The Tornado Whisk is a new take on the typical whisk. My husband is a chef so we are always looking at new and inventive kitchen items. As far as color- this whisk is wonderful- the bright colors would brighten any kitchen. As for function it does take some getting used to... in culinary school you are taught how to hold and use a whisk- and that style certainly doesn't work with this.This whisk works with holding it straight down into the dish and spinning it slowly as apposed to the twirling motion you do with a typical whisk. While it is not bad, it is different and takes some getting used to. At first it was a messy process but after a few uses we were able to develop the needed skills to use it. For me, I think a normal whisk is the way I would choose to go, but I can see the benefits of this style kitchen tool. I received this free for my honest review, however getting this discount in no way effect my opinion of the product. .
