When it comes to beverages, they HAVE to be cold! But I'll admit I have a love/hate relationship with ice. Most ice trays make small ice cubes that melt really fast (making your drink taste all watery) and ice made in plastic trays just taste funny to me- I can't explain the taste its just off.

When I first discovered Silicone Ice Trays the technology just wasn't there. The silicone has a smell to it that left the ice smelling too (not appetizing!). Silicone has come a long way! I gave silicone ice trays another chance when I got to review this product free.

These trays make very large ice cubes at 1oz squares (around 1 to 1.25 inches). The ice is super easy to get out - no more twisting hard plastic! Beings food grade silicone makes them dishwasher safe! I will say that when the tray is full of water its a little awkward to lift it into the freezer. Because silicone is very pliable, I have a hard time moving the trays w/o making a mes. I fill them and put them on a old cookie sheet (pan) so its easier to move them. I received this product free for my honest review however getting this discount in no way effected my opinion of the product.
