While I believe that a shock collar should be the very last option for dog training, I do believe that some dogs will not learn until there is instant reprimanding consequences. My dog has been a pain when it comes to the constant barking, all day and night- so much so that the neighbors complain. I love my dog and refuse to give up on him like several other owners had- the pound was about to put him down when I found him, having been returned by 4 other families. Getting kicked out of obedience class made me think there was no hope until a friend told me how the use of a shock collar quickly taught her pup to quiet down.

The collar comes in a very nice hard case that zips closed. Included is the collar itself measuring 25 inches long, the shock piece, 2 batteries (I love that batteries are included!!) and attachments. The seller emailed me the instructions which are super great and teach you everything you need to know. The shocker has several settings and lets out a loud beep before it shocks the dog. My dog learned really quickly that when the beeping starts he needs to calm down. After only a few days I have peace at last!!  Thankfully this rescue pup now has a forever home :)

I received this item free or at a discounted rate for my honest review, however getting this discount in no way effected my opinion of the product.
