While I have short hair, I keep it short because it has a mind of its own! Frizzy, half curly, and just plain won't lay flat. I have always just used a straightener but I find with short hair its not an easy process. I love that this is basically a brush, its so easy to use! Once it heats up (and its pretty quick at that too), you simply slowly brush your hair. I do with it had a temperature gauge on it as finding the right setting can be tough. The brush has +/- buttons so you can adjust it to your hair's needs. With thin short hair I keep it on a lower heat setting and brush away my hair troubles. The brush comes with a heat glove so you don't burn your hand, which is great because the handle does get pretty warm. I did have an issue with getting the hair that was in he brush out of it, the bristles are hard so cleaning the brush is a challenge. I just took a comb and ran it through the brush, but it would have been nice if some type of tool to clean it was included. I received this item free for my honest review, however getting this discount in no way effected my opinion of the product.
