I adore this rope light, it has a very long lead cord- at 6.5 feet, making putting up just about anywhere perfect.  The lighted part is 16.5 feet long, making it great for running along a pathway or running around a tree trunk or pole. I wrapped it (and another rope light) around the outside of my above ground pool (around the top under the lip) and it looks amazing. There is a bright LED light every 4 inches, casting the perfect glow around the pool and yard.
The lights have 2 modes- steady on or flashing, depending on what were doing I am able to have the perfect light. I love that when I have the kids over I can make them flash and liven up the 'pool party'. When its just me and my husband I am able to have a constant glow, adding to the night swim! I received this item free for my honest review, however getting this discount in no way effected my opinion of the product.
