I'm truly amazed with the quality of these knives considering the price! Currently listed on Amazon for only $15.96!!! These are high, restaurant quality steak knifes- and I would know being married to a Chef, and spending most of the better part of 10 years in the restaurant. The eight piece set comes in a very nice hard plastic case, perfect for storing, traveling with, and/or displaying.
The knives have very sturdy wooden handles, while they are wooden, they are very smooth and do not splitter even after washing. The blades are stainless steel and very sharp. They work great on steak! I did try to cut a very ripe tomato just to see how they would handle it and was amazed with its ability to slice through without squishing it. I was able to make paper thin slices of tomato!- very impressive for any knife other then a chef knife! This is a wonderful set and out make a great addition to any home or restaurant! I received this item free in exchange for my honest review, however getting this discount in no way effected my opinion of the product.
