Whenever I listen to guided meditations or binary beats I would always hear the most beautiful tones but never really knew what they were until I went to a retreat and got to play a variety of Tibetan Singing Bowls and completely fell in love with not only the sound but the experience of making music and feeling the vibrations. This bowl is a 5 inch bowl that can be played quickly for higher tones or slowly for deep tones. The bowl looks as though it was hand made showcasing hammer strikes and imperfections adding to its allure. It comes in a beautiful box, perfect for gifting, with the bowl you also get a pillow for it to sit on and wooden mallet. The mallet has one end that is wrapped so you can use other end for different sounds/ vibrations. The bowl is very easy to pick up and start playing right away, by simply running the mallet around the outside rim of the bowl. Softly striking the bowl makes the sound start quicker and louder. The 5 inch bowl makes a sound in the note of G which is perfect for the Throat Chakra, allowing your to open that chakra aids communication. If you play this bowl rather quickly you do get different tones and it can be used for assisting with the other chakra(s). Beyond chakras the sound and vibration created by playing this bowl aids in achieving deeper meditation, relaxations and stress relief. I purchased this item at a discounted rate for my honest review, however getting this discount in no way effected my opinion of the product.
