The first thing I noticed was the scent, it has a very mild and herbal. Following directions I washed my face with warm water to open my pours and then applied the oil. It goes on nice and smooth, I use clear shaving gel so I'm happy that it went on clear. I normally keep my face shaved but I had let it get pretty long before trying this stuff and I have to say that it was a really smooth shave! It created a nice barrier between my skin and the razor. When I let my hair get too long before shaving it hurts, almost like the hair is being pulled out but this was a gentle shaving experience. Once complete it left my skin very soft and I didn't get the irritation I would normally when shaving such long hair. This oil is definitely worthy trying and using! I purchased this item at a discounted rate for my honest review, however getting this discount in no way effected my opinion of the product.
