These are light weight plastic reusable food storage containers. They fit together to make storage of them easy in a small space, and stack really well in the fridge/freezer. BPA free plastic and also dishwasher, freezer, and microwave safe. These are great for taking lunches to school/ work, storing left overs or if you are trying to control your portions, there are 2 8oz (1 cup) compartments and a 16 oz (2 cups) compartment in these containers.The lids do fit nicely but are not liquid tight- so I would recommend only using them for dry items. I tested these for volume not weight with liquid- One of the small sides is clearly smaller then the other- in my testings they are as follows: 6 oz, 8 oz and 15 oz., while they technically could hold 8/8/16 I would not recommend it as that makes the containers very full and the lid might not fit properly. I received this item free for my review however getting this discount in no way effected my opinion of the product.
